    Uh it's been about 24 hours since it went live(UK included)

    TDKR has broken the world record of most imax tickets sold in pre release sales....and its still selling..and its for 1 screening night.........

    Exclusive: IMAX have sold 13,000 The Dark Knight Rises tickets since midnight. That's a world record for an IMAX screening.

    My friend is on line at the big movie theatre nearby with costco passes, trying to get midnight IMAX tickets.

    I'll just wait a week or two to watch it at the Edwards in the Marq*e. I don't feel like hanging out for a few hours just to get a halfway decent seat.

    The whole state of GA is hardly my typical movie going area, though I watched HP: Deathly Hallows 1 at the one that is about 2 hours away due to a gift card for Regal, which doesn't have one much closer.

    The Amstar is however in my area. Now to decide if I want to go opening night, or wait. Since I need a babysitter, I may not have much of a choice.

    bought my tickets for sat night at the IMAX out here which has reserved seating so i dont need to wait in any lines thank god and its a true IMAX not the ones AMCs have.

    Looked at opening day but the seats that were available were all crappy seats so its worth waiting a day and seeing it properly in a decent seat

    I wish I could have reserved my seats. I'm counting on getting there between noon and 1pm to hopefully be first in line.

    Yeah would love to have the option of reserving seats, even though like mrm32 said the wait is killer. Anyways latest on SHH is that the runtime of 2 hrs and 45 is a placeholder and the actual time is 181 minutes! Don't know if it will be that long though.
