Agreeing with most who have seen it already. I saw it Friday night, wasn't great, wasn't a sheetshow either. 7/10
I totally agree. It looked like the opening to a video game. There was some great scenes but for the most part it was not as good as Cap 2 or Guardians. Was not disappointing but was not better than the first. Really looking forward to Captain America 3 and honestly probably should not have watch Daredevil beforehand. Made it hard to compare because you go from a R to Pg. Wished they hadn't dumbed it down.
Thought it was better than the first by a little bit. Ultron was badass, didn't think it was too cartoony. James Spader was excellent. Vision was awesome. My only complaints were Spoiler Hulks emo-ness, Don Cheadle not being funny at all & the fact that Falcon didn't do **** but show up on the last scene. Overall very good flick, great set up movie. More of the Klaw please.
Vision will be essential to the next Avengers movie (Infinity War 1/2). Hes made out of an infinity stone so the only way Thanos, the last alien boss as you call him, can acquire all 6 stones is to kill Vision. Really hoping they mix GOTG with all the other new characters they're introducing for a huge g*ngbang in Infinity War.
He's not made out of the mind stone, he has it. He was made out of (or laced with or something) Vibranium. At the end of AoU, Thor says "if he can wield the hammer he can keep the mind stone" or something like that. The stone is on his head.
I could have worded it better but the stone gives him his power. You're right though, he's made out of Vibranium. Regardless, he has something that every movie in the MCU is building up to which should be epic on screen.
Yes. Adamantium was made specifically as an attempt to replicate Vibranium, at least in the comics. It can cut through anything expect Vibranium.
They must have retconned that in the past few years- Adamantium was always considered the strongest, right under Cap's one of a kind Adamantium/Vibranium alloy shield. (fox owns the movie rights to Adamantium, which is why we don't see it in the Marvel Cinematic Universe).
Adamantium is stronger physically that vibranium in the comics. They didn't really touch on it in the movies, but the value of vibranium is the special properties. It can nullify sound and kinetic energy.
From the Marvel Wiki: A pure blade of Adamantium is capable of cutting almost any known substance, with the known exceptions of Adamantium itself and Captain America's shield. Link: http://marvel.wikia.com/Adamantium Too bad we'll never really know in the MCU since Fox owns the right to it, like Xero said.
Vibranium can't be cut because it nullifies kinetic energy. Imagine for a second there is a piece of paper in front of you and you have a knife. A knife is strong enough to cut the paper (and sharp enough) correct? Now what if everytime you touched the paper with the knife you were completely unable to apply and force or pressure?
Watched it a 2nd time this weekend. I definitely like it over the 1st one. Iron Man, Winter Soldier and this movie are the 1st tier for me. I think it's strictly a - fan of the comics - type thing with Ultron. I enjoyed it more the 2nd viewing. With Avengers I enjoyed it less and less (still like it a lot though).
I really hope so, too. I'm really hoping that no matter who the hero is, there will at least be a cameo by every hero that's been a part of this universe.
Except for Hawkeye... dude already got his 15 minutes. That's 15 more than he deserves. I hope he dies in whichever movie comes out next.
