I wouldn't do that just yet, Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross have a say in it this year for the Social Network Soundtrack.

Into the Wild happened too...

"Into the Wild, by Jon Krakauer, tells the true story of Chris McCandless"

I think so. Hard to see how it wouldn't be.

The two films have nothing in common aside from the fact that they are both about being outdoors I guess.

Finally saw this tonight and thought it was great.

As strange as it sounds, I think James Franco should get strong consideration for best actor, considering he provided 90% of the film's acting and had to convey a lot of emotions simply through expressions.

Fittingly, this was the first movie I ever watched alone in the theater. Given the subject matter, I think it may have actually added something to the experience.

sorry, i would've just used the movie rating thread, but this film was so awesome i felt like this one needed to be bumped again. wow what a great acting and directing job. and an incredible story, i can't stop reading about aron ralston. seeing the actual footage of him saying his name and who his parents are, after being stuck a few days...chilling. an amazing triumph of the human will.
