I wouldn't do that just yet, Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross have a say in it this year for the Social Network Soundtrack.
Into the Wild happened too... "Into the Wild, by Jon Krakauer, tells the true story of Chris McCandless"
The two films have nothing in common aside from the fact that they are both about being outdoors I guess.
Finally saw this tonight and thought it was great. As strange as it sounds, I think James Franco should get strong consideration for best actor, considering he provided 90% of the film's acting and had to convey a lot of emotions simply through expressions. Fittingly, this was the first movie I ever watched alone in the theater. Given the subject matter, I think it may have actually added something to the experience.
sorry, i would've just used the movie rating thread, but this film was so awesome i felt like this one needed to be bumped again. wow what a great acting and directing job. and an incredible story, i can't stop reading about aron ralston. seeing the actual footage of him saying his name and who his parents are, after being stuck a few days...chilling. an amazing triumph of the human will.
