I hope Ensberg plays another 5 years as well, but if he's hurt, he needs to be DL'd. If he's not hurt, something else needs to be done.
are you friends with him, or something? did he come visit your school and was really nice? does he go to your church? i hope the guy finds it again, but right now, he's stuck in a horrofic slump, and you seem blissfully oblivious to it, as if we're all being too harsh on a guy who's average the past month and a half is .150. we need ensberg to hit to win; no one wants him to fail, but that doesn't mean we're going to bury our heads in the sand, either.
Wow. 7 pitch at bat with not one ball in the strike zone and Morgan still can't get on base. that's just amazing
OK you can put me in the Ensberg needs to be out of the lineup camp now. He can't hit for crap since May and I don't even like his defense. He needs to be sat for at least 2-3 weeks to hopefully make him healthy and then given another chance. He has been worthless for 2.5 months now.
I would put Lamb at 3B for now, he is not as good on defense, but he is not that much worse at 3rd than Ensberg right now. I would move Berkman back to 1B, start Burke in CF, move Wilson to RF, and bring up Luke Scott to play LF. Then I would keep Everett and Biggio in the same spots...and give Ausmus more rest. DD
No, lol, I am older than he is. I met him at MMP and he did the coolest thing that just made me respect the guy and I really think he is a good ballplayer. He's got a good heart. I do have a deep love for the Astros organization as well as my love for the game. I just think if I think positive he will get better. I sure don't want to have any negative energy because that sure won't help anything.
We have to try all the possible combinations we possible can. Something's got to give but we will win tomorrow's game.
