A chemistry geek reply to mc mark above: Coke has a pH of 3. Therefore, it ate through paint, and some people use it to clean windshields. However, the pH in your stomach is even lower than that, so I doubt it'll hurt too much. That's all. Stay away from the Mt. Dew, that stuff is wicked... VOR, I'm not very big on the Dew, but at Taco Bell (I love the Bell), they only have Pepsi products. Okay, they have Dr. Pepper too, which I love, but sometimes the DP is not working. So, what is a Pepsi-hater to do? Well, I had to make a choice. Drink water (hell no, not with Bell food). Drink Pepsi (never). Drink Dew, too sweet. Drink strawberry soda... okay, so I did that a couple of times, but it just wasn't satisfying me. One day I had the huevos to try mixing strawberry soda with Mountain Dew, and the most wonderful drink ever was born. You see, Mountain Dew is too sweet, and often the strawberry soda out of fountain is not sweet enough. The balance is perfect. I even tried to get my idea to the folks at Mountain Dew, but they won't even let me tell them for patent reasons. They only allow drink suggestions from within their company. I guess I could try to get hired there, and tell them, then quit. But, that's a lot of hassle. I don't even want no stinking money. I just want to see my idea on the shelves of the grocery store, and to spread the deliciousness of Strawberry Dew to the world. The proper mix is hard to get but a 50/50 mix is the safest and easiest way to go. The best is usually a 1/3 Dew, 2/3 strawberry mix.
