Who was it the Giants 1B he beaned, then got a basehit and talked trash to him on base at first? IIRC they started throwing down at first. Awesome.

Do over. I'll put JR Richards on my list instead of Nolan Ryan.

    Pedro Guererro, Cardinals: http://query.nytimes.com/gst/fullpage.html?res=9C0CE3DC1139F93BA2575BC0A966958260

Couldn't find any video of the brawl against Montreal. He went nuts there too, got like a week suspension, iirc.

This is from DD's wiki page, hadn't head this:

It was a source of debate amongest Astros players and fans over who would win in a fight, Ryan or Darwin. Though Astros pitcher Bob Knepper attempted to set up a fight between the two during spring training in 1988, manager Hal Lanier stopped it before it could commence. Many experts, including Astros shortstop Rafael Ramirez, felt that Darwin would win because he "looked like someone no man would want to mess with."

Just remembered another guy for my mountain of shame: Spec Richardson, worst front-office employee in Htown history.

    My four?

Dream, Earl, and Biggio are givens. For my fourth, I'll go with George Blanda.

Here are his notables in Houston:

I'm in the anti-Nolan camp and thought about J.R.

Also, us old timers can't forget about Elvin Bethea, Ken Houston, Gordie Howe, Jose Cruz, Caesar Cedeno, Robert Brazile, Ken Burrough, Robert Newhouse.

Shoot, I'm still waiting for a Hakeem statue of some sort outside of Toyota Center. But, something about the Muslim religion forbidding that type of stuff though.

Hakeem, Warren Moon (actually was more productive than Earl), Mike Scott, Guy V. Lewis.

Out of curiosity, why Mike Scott over someone like Roy Oswalt?

I don't understand how you put anyone other then Bags or Biggio from the Astros. There aren't any Astros that come close. Ryan? Maybe but only because he is such a Houston boy, not because of his tenure as an Astro.

No Guy Lewis reference or Elvin Hayes?

Edit: I see the Guy V reference right above....
