You haven't had the pleasure of using the Facebook app for webOS. In certain ways, it is actually better than the full website for many common Facebook tasks.

I've been an avid iPhone user since its inception, but I have to admit that I'm growing more and more intrigued by the Android-based hardware that's coming out. I think that's why the Atrix caught my eye. Then again, I guess I'm just getting antsy to hear about the next big thing coming down the road from Apple. As much as I would like to try an Android phone, the thought of having to convert all my music and losing all my apps is very unnerving.

If I'm reading it right, Motorola wants $500 for that laptop dock? And that's not including the data fees you have to have:

    http://www.engadget.com/2011/02/03/motorolas-atrix-4g-coming-to-atandt-on-march-6th-for-200-bundle/

And of course, today we found out that the Xoom tablet will be $800, and there are rumors that you will actually have to sign up for one month of data service to unlock the wifi capabilities of the tablet. (Which I still can't believe to be true - that has to be some sort of poor wording on the leaked ad, right?)

    freakin' Motorola.

If you won it, why are you returning it?

You could sell it and use the money toward the new one when it comes out.

Not sure this is really on topic in an Atrix thread, though.

Nobody's going to buy that stupid Laptop dock package. You're saving $200 by buying it launch but when you're locked into a 2 year contract for tethering.. you end up paying more than if you were to buy the laptop dock separate after launch for $500 and not have to get the tethering plan.

Got mine today, feels like a nice phone.

Android, just what I expected... everything is great with Android for me, it fits me better than iOS.

The phone itself, the notification light is awesome (something I haven't had for a long time), the screen is crisp though I have heard a few issues with the screen. Camera is pretty damn good for a 5MP, above average.. better than I expected. I think the main test will be the battery.

Unfortunately, not getting 4G right now here, so I can't test the 4G speeds but it certainly feels fast.

The outside of the phone is also better than I expected. When they mentioned the back was plastic, I immediately thought it would be tacky. Instead, it's sturdy and it feels good in your hand.

It's also pretty fast in launching apps, I don't know what else I can compare it to right now because I don't have another Android device and it wouldn't be fair comparing to the iPhone because of different operating systems.

I would recommend this phone for anyone looking to get a new Android phone and is on AT&T.

I'm considering buying today. How is AT&T's HSPA+ in Houston? Is it better than Sprint 4g and Tmobile 4g? Hows the indoor coverage?

Seen a lot about AT&T disabling HUSPA for the Atrix, capping the upload speed and slowing the download speeds. Lots of complaints about it on AT&T's boards.

Yup, seems like it hasn't been enabled yet. I'm not worried, but I'm disappointed in AT&T spreading out that there is 4g when there really isnt.

This looks like a really good phone.

But is anyone worried about Motorola locking its bootloader so that it becomes harder to root?

Personally, I just love the quality and design of HTC. But the specs on this phone look to good.

Yeah, I went to an AT&T store and did a couple of speedtest on different servers and the highest I got was 3 mbps. No thanks.

    LTE for me :)
played around with LTE at a verizon store and got like 14 mbps down and 6 up
