its amazing how many coaches are on this board. all these guys who know EXACTLY what is going on behind the scenes and know how to win a championship.

kidrock, why dont you take ur ignorant country-ass moniker and go to a lakers board where you can continue sucking phil jacksons c@ck. phil is a "talent manager" not a coach. jordan was the coach of that team, and his coaching for the lakers is "get shaq the ball"

heyP, as obnoxious as he is, is the only one (save a few others) that actually talk coaching as opposed to "rudy sux, iso sux, whaawhaa whaaaaa" i actually learn something and get new insight into the art of coaching, which i know nothing about.

i like what they(rox) are doing for the most part, and i will wait and see. whats funny is when we make the playoffs, what you will try to complain about next.

i thought that when the season started it would shut you faux rocket fans up, but here we are....

by the way, a good coach will win wherever he is, and only special players get rings really. it is not that easy. larry brown is a good example of that. how many different teams has he taken to the playoffs?

    Selfish player, plain and simple.

Remember tonight, late in the first half, when Rice poked the ball lose after a Philly shot (every Philly player running back on defense), Francis gets the ball with Rice next to the basket and WIDE open for a lay-up when Francis doesn't even consider giving Rice the ball and goes for the lay-up himself. That was selfish, plain and simple.

Francis is the problem (and solution) to solving our offensive woes. Will he play seflishly or not?

    haha...

Sounds like someone has their Huggies all bunched up in a tight wad.

Jordan was actually the coach of the Bulls when Collins was head coach. That was when "The Jordan Rules" was in effect. You are the first person I've ever heard say that MJ was the coach of the Bulls. I guess that means MJ improved as a "coach" when Phil arrived huh?

It's so funny that you say there's all these know-it-alls on this board. Then you go out and say something so asanine, and try to make it sound like you know something, that no one knows.

I fully expect your response to be filled with several cuss words, since Mommy and Daddy apparently let you use the internet today.

I just have one question to ask you, why on earth did you mention "sucking phil jackson's c@ck"? No one mentioned that until you did. Is this some sort of thought that's been in your head for a while, that you just HAD TO get out in your rambling diatribe? Better yet, don't answer that question, because I'm sure you'll conjure up an even more gruesome mental image.

    Have a good day.

    :p

I never knew they made trophys and rings for 1st round appearances. I guess I never heard of all those 1st round and out parades they held in SA, LA, and Philly.

How many diff teams did he fail to win titles with is the question.

There are 16 teams out of 29 teams who make it to the playoffs. Odds are in his favor that he'd take his team to the playoffs.

Also, why has Brown gone around the NBA, more than Heather Locklear? If he was such a great coach, wouldn't he be able to win a title, as well as being able to hold a job?

It's funny when you say MJ was the coach when Phil was the Bulls coach. What the hell do you think Iverson is with the Sixers and Brown? Iverson has Brown by the balls. And rarely does what he says. At least MJ, Shaq, Kobe, even Rodman are/were in good behavior.

You seem to be contradiction defined.

Quit posting before you dig yourself into deeper hole. You are just too easy of a target.

It almost like a glitch in the Matrix as far as the offense. I don't know what you call it, but philly was getting the ball quick into good scoring positions(inside 18ft) and still breaking down our defense with pump fakes and dribble drives. I don't know how Iverson, the so called ball hog, out assisted our entire team. I agree with Kid Rock about the excuses that run rampant. I'm tired of hearing about the injuries and the practice time and whatever that seems to plague this team. I do agree Ming is new and will take a little while to get adjusted, but why is he so far from the basket all the time? Why run a high pick and roll with Cato? I could go on and on and watch some of what other teams do and ask, why can't the Rockets do that? The play in particular when Malone post up on the left blocks, stockton has the ball on the right side. He passes the ball to the wing, rubs off the ft line screen looking for the ball, when he doesn't get it , he sets a pick for malone who rolls right in front of the rim for either a foul or a bucket. I wonder if we substited our players in that set and put either Ming or Griffin in Malone spot would we get the same shots? Probably so, but i guess just like politics, it makes too much sense.

your pretty funny kid. i am sorry i attacked your boyfriend phil, that was unfair.

i don't claim to say anything that is not said BY EVERY SPORTS WRITER IN THE LEAGUE. jordan ran the bulls, and the only reason the bulls didn't win with collins is because jordan was still developing from a superstar to a playmaker. also, he was a little too abrasive with his roleplayers. this aint new news, just check out jodan: sports century.

and larry brown has had **** for talent on most of all those teams he has led to the playoffs. ai, as great a scorer as he is, is NOT jordan. and EVERYONE knows that shaq is the most dominating force in the nba, and kobe is the second coming of jordan, and even those talents took development. they would have won those championships with a little MONKEY coaching.

apparently, most things are above your head, in nyc, snaps like the ones i dropped on you aren't lost, but hey, what can i expect from a kid who feels that the majesty and geniuse of kidrock's music is too great to not immortalize with his screenname.

look, i am just sick of all the whaawhaaing on this board by supposed rockets fans, especially with PRESeaSON GAMES!!! it is usually your arguments kidrock that lead me to believe that either your a teenager or just a plain mental defective. chill tha f@ck out with all the hatin. damn, i tell you what if we have a losing record 1 month into the season , have at it, untill then.... wait nevermind

this board has become nothing but a mindless rockets bashing site that is disintigrating into unreadable more and more each day. why should i expect you to do anything different?

    peace

Gram, are you dumb or what...We are b****ing about a few preseason games????? What freaking planet are you from. What freaking Rockets offense have you been watching the last.......ummmmm.............5 YEARS!

Remind us all of how many Rudy promises to "Change the offense" has occured over the last 5 years...what at least 4 times from the horses mouth with nothing to show for it but excuses.

I swear to God almighty I watch just about any other team in the NBA (well lets say any of the Playoff teams) and wish to death that we could do half of the things the good teams do on offense.

Every year, we have to listen to excuse after excuse after excuse for reverting to the most simplistic of offenses. One man do it all. NOW HEAR THIS!!!! All teams go through injuries, add players, and lose players. Its like I can set a freaking clock to you guys. Preseason was the time to work the kinks out of any supposed new offense. Personally I think Rudy just lies about it. Seriously. At least 4 years in a row I heard of the impressive new offense that is going to be rolled out and by the time the season hits its the same old bull****. I dont think he is capable of implementing anything at all.

Does everyone remember that twice in the last few years, the league has seen fit to change the rules in large part to the Rox and their - How was it worded again - slowing down of the game with their stagnant offense.

And really, just because someone doesnt believe Rudy is the Shiznit doesnt meant they are not fans. If Phil Jackson was coach of this team your homering would be all about Phil. Maybe you should be a fan of Rudy instead of a fan of the Houston Rockets. Team first, team first, team first.
