Good for Donatas! I can't wait to see highlights, or even the games they play. Hopefully, we'll get links in the future for just that. Seems like this would be a good place for them. And why should we have a problem with what he's doing? It isn't like he's spent numerous summers playing for his national team, to no purpose related to Rockets/NBA basketball. He's still very young. It'll be a great experience for him, in my opinion.

Yeah, that is what disappointed me about his rookie year. After a few games, rather then let him post up even when against weak PFs, they had him parked at the 3 point line. Makes me worried that they are not really developing their bigs to work in the post, since Motiejunas came into the season and based on looks none of the other bigs ever developed post moves better then what he learned before arriving on the team.

People always bring up McHale teaching the PFs or Centers his legendary post moves but I've yet to see it and that concerns me. Especially with guys like Greg Smith who has been here for over a season and while better at defense and dunking put backs, seems to not have developed the ability getting into a position to score with his back to the basket.

Nba.com http://www.nba.com/playerfile/donatas_motiejunas/ has Donatas listed at 222 and Rosas said in the recent podcast that he was 257. I'd say they are getting more than they bargained for.

He didnt actually sayed that in his words it was more like, he sayed he will play rougher against rougher.
I somehow doubt they want to trade Dmo, the so called hype, isnt really there, Dmo was working his ass to increase his weight not in fat, but in pure muscle. And if they want to add other expensive players, keeping good starting caliber rookie (hopefully next season) for cheap is the way to go. Unless McHale dont see a place for Dmo on this team, since the role of shooting 3's isnt really Dmo thing. Yes he can shoot 3's, but its probably his worst component if his offence.

He should join the Blazers for LaMarcus Aldridge.

McHale is not a good coach, not even remotely. People giving him all credits to getting to the playoff, but seriously, with this line up, they can get to the playoff with better record without McHale. Unfortunately for us fans that we will have to see him as head coach for the next few years. As long as McHale is head coach, the Rockets will never reach the final.
