Flowers. Unless you were a part of her raising the kids, then a card kind of seems weird. Flowers at least acknowledges the day.
I decided on a gift as well after all. She recently bought Oakley Flak 2.0's for her runs and daily use. I had given her some Oakley Radarlocks with vented lenses for road cycling on her birthday. All she needed was some good bay fishing glasses. I was going to get her some Costa's, but it was over $200. It just made sense to get her some shallow water polarized lenses for her Flak's for all the bay fishing we do. Not the traditional mother's day gift, but one i know she will appreciate. Thanks for all the help guys. Thank you Shark. You really put it in perspective for me.
So she got her bouquet on Wednesday at work, which she loved, and I gave her the Oakley lenses last night. We were out celebrating something else and many restaurants were packed. We realized it was Mexican Mother's Day and the raza was out in full force. I figured I could give her the lenses so that her kids could have Sunday to shower her in gifts. I'll just give her the card on Sunday.
