You're right, of course. Just angers me the amount of power and influence the cartels have and how they have been so embraced by the people of Mexico. But when the govt has been all but impotent in fighting against the drug lords and the cartels have been more instrumental in providing for and/or protecting the citizenry, I guess this is what you get...
