Well, I'm gonna have to say index finger. I know I've told this story before on here, but I'm missing half of my right index finger due to an encounter with a pet rabbit when I was 2. I played trumpet for 15 years and now I'm on a keyboard all day for a living. It hasn't held me back one bit!
My friend lost his thumb on his dominant hand (the left), and he still shoots lights-out and owns me all over the basketball court. Now, if he can compensate for the loss of his thumb, I'm not too worried about any of the other individual fingers. Then again, he can't use scissors or shuffle a deck of cards.
I'm keeping all my fingers. I mean...sometimes i'll give somebody the finger... ...but it seems, they always give it back.
My pinkies and ring fingers are totally crucial to drumming up blast beats in my grindcore project. Enough of this finger discrimination!
I'm not exactly the Croc Hunter, but I'd like to think of myself as a pretty fearless guy. One irrational fear I do have, though, is a fear of knives -- for this reason. I'll use them, and sometimes twirl a dull one in my hand, but I don't like being around them. I'm scared shyteless of losing a finger and not being able to play guitar, Django be damned.
I chose the ring finger beacuse im not wear rings (not married yet) In second place is the pinky is very useless too.
try this out shake some one's hand while shaking have them hold your pinky straight out with their other hand try to grip the person's hand as hard as you can with them holding your pinky the lesson here is without your pinky your grip will be greatly reduced. I voted ring finger
