By my estimation, there are nearly 50 PF's who who are more effective than anyone in our group, and who would have more value to other teams in trades.

    Al Jefferson
    Kurt Thomas
    Mike Sweetney
    Donyell Marshall
    Chris Bosh
    Tyson Chandler
    Antonio Davis
    Drew Gooden
    Rasheed Wallace
    Antonio MyDyess
    Jermaine O’Neal
    Joe Smith
    Antoine Walker
    Emeka Okafor
    Melvin Ely
    Udonis Haslem
    Dwight Howard
    Antawn Jamison
    Kwame Brown
    Etan Thomas
    Dirk Nowitzki
    Pau Gasol
    Stromile Swift
    PJ Brown
    David West
    Tim Duncan
    Malik Rose
    Kenyon Martin
    Nene
    Kevin Garnett
    Eddie Griffin
    Sharif Adbur-Rahim
    Zach Randolph
    Reggie Evans
    Nick Collison
    Danny Fortson
    Carlos Boozer
    Troy Murphy
    Cliff Robinson
    Elton Brand
    Chris Wilcox
    Brian Grant
    Lamar Odom
    Amare Stoudamire
Raef LaFrentz (despite his huge untradeable contract)
Chris Webber (despite his huge untradeable contract)

Of this group, I didn't include players who play some at PF but whose primary position is elsewhere (like Eric Williams or Shawn Marion), and I didn't include rookie/scrubs whose trade value is probably higher than Mo, Juwon, or Weatherspoon due to their contract, even though they never get off the bench (Derrick Coleman, Christian Laettner, Kendrick Perkins etc.). It is safe to assume that all 46 of the above players would start in front of Mo, Juwon, or Weatherspoon if they were on the Rocket roster.

Thus, virtually every team in the league's back-up PF is better than our starter, and, moreover, we wouldn't have the assets tp trade for their back-up, even if they didn't want them.

The only PF's in the entire league who may have worse contracts than either of our two main PF's are Brian Cardinal, Jerome Williams, and Kenny Thomas, and it is arguable that any of them would be preferable to either of ours.

you could have saved yourself a ton of time by simply just listing the "PFs that are LESS valuable or tradeable" than our current group...

Howard and MoT are better scorers than many on that list. If its rebounding and defense you are comparing then you might have something.

Mo and Howard could easily fit on many teams who use a scoring set when needed.

However, I sooo disagree that all those players are more valuable than our PF's.

hahah good list for your first post ever!

true you wonder where all these PF's are? there are only so many teams in the league and we get stuck with MoT/JHoward/Spoon.
