Andre Miller to the Blazers. Fix the weakest link of the squad with a player that is coming off another good season.

The houston rockets are the most dispointing team this offseason...yea they find dimonds in the rough but nothing to upgrade the team...look at orlando, maybe the mavericks, cleveland, LA, even memphis...The rockets yea maybe their looking for a cheap signy but maybe we need to stop being so cheap n pay an all star so we can get better instead of always coming out with stupid quotes like the time is now or some BS like that cuz the time is never if we dont do something that will help our team out...like am i the only one who sees the owner waiting on a lazy bumb like tmac and an injjured player like yao to come back..no thanx

Agree. It also frees up Brandon Roy. Roy can now set his mind in scoring and not necessary setting up his teammates.

For fun, the matchups as rosters are currently constructed might be

    Shaq/Big Z - D Howard/Gortat
    Varajao/Hickson - Bass/Ryan Anderson
    Lebron - Rashard/Barnes
    Parker/Moon - V Carter/Pietrus
    Mo Williams/West - Nelson/A Johnson

Definitely Parker and Moon give the Cavs some needed length on defense. Mo Williams and Delonte must be smiling big.

I dont know though, the collective under-the-radar moves of Bass/Barnes/R Anderson looks good compared to Parker/Moon.

ROFL at the authenticity - scary @ how good u are at this stuff
what's scarier is this proposal probably makes more sense than 2/5 of the proposals I've read.

I know it's not underrated/not talked about enough but T. Ariza coming here is huge. We've needed a slasher for a couple years now

Trust me but you're not the only one that see this happening. Morey is good but he is not a wizard. Sure he pulls some decent moves but he is not doing crap. He said he is making a splash during this year draft but all he did was buying 3 players from 2nd round. All the other teams are getting better and I feel like we're the only one getting worst. Cleveland front office sucks but I feel like we're worst than them.

So a player that don't dunk is wacked? I guess playing great defense is wack and useless nowadays. Steve Nash don't dunk, John Stockton don't dunk, Scola don't dunk much, Jason Kidd don't dunk so does that means they all wacked?

Marion to Dallas -- if it's possible to 'underrate' a move of that magnitude. Also, Bass to Orlando and McDyess to the Spurs are two moves that will quietly pay off big dividends.

your just plain Dumb. this teams 2 best players AND max players are out. your not going to get much before the trade deadline for someone that makes more money then anyone in the league and sitting on the bench. morey is hamstrung by yao and tmac being injured and there is nothing he can really do about it.

Although a long shot, I hope the trading and signing of David Andersen would pay big dividends for the Rockets. It could be the most underrated move. Time will tell.

What’s with all these n00bs comin out of the closet and hatin on Morey?

First of all he isn’t sitting on his ass doing nothing. He is acquiring cheap talent and young athletic players, yes. There is no way to just offload Tracy and Yao and get a deal of a lifetime without giving up anything, if that’s what you’re leading towards doing.

As far as them not spending money, that’s a big joke. They spent 6 million dollars on just acquiring those three 2nd round draft picks, that doesn’t even include signing them to contracts. They got a true center with size for cheap and spent MLE on Ariza with keeping the true MLE and using the injured player’s exception.

You saying that the Rockets aren’t spending money is ludicrous and the good thing is that Morey isn’t jumping on any whack offer coming across his desk for Tracy. He knows there will be teams coming out to get that contract off his hands especially if he comes back playing above average to star like basketball.

Do us a favor next time and think before ya’ll speak please, the both of you.

If Philly signs Luther Head, that would easily, very easily, be the most underrated move.

His all-defensive first team caliber presence and his John Stockton-like playmaking skills make him an absolute steal.
