serious answer: Luke Walton. anyone watches his game would agree with me. another fact..Lakers was owning the league even when Larmar and Brown was out, why: luke walton. when Luke went out and larmar comes back. 6 losing streak for Lakers, coincident? i think not. His high basketball IQ is criticle to the triangle offense. he's got all the weapons.
Ha. Swift came back Friday playing big minutes in more than 2 months: 15 pts, 13 boards, 4 blocks 3 steals. And doing what he does best: http://boss.streamos.com/wmedia/nba/nbacom/dotn/dotn_070309.asx But nah... I'd have to say Chris Bosh cuz (though its in the east) his team is leading their division and greatly improved and he's a big part. Their whole team might be underrated. Then I'd say Eddie Curry. Though he's overdue and simply doing whats long been expected, the points per game (19.3) is better than what I thought itd be.
Al Jefferson- This guy is turning into a star before our eyes. Luol Deng- also going to be a star for many years to come who doesn't necessarily get the credit he deserves. Kevin Martin- Used to be vastly underrated, nice to see him get some props finally.
caron butler. Even though he made the all star team, no one even talks about him since Arenas gets all the hype.
Nice to see a thread on Iggy! He has been playing awesome lately. He is fastly becoming one of my favorite non-Rockets players. What surprises me is his assists and his long range shooting. I think Iggy is turning into a Joe Johnson type player. A tall swingman with PG capabilities. Philly has to be happy with what they have in Andre Miller and Iggy. If they can get lucky with the lottery then they can get right back into things in the East.
Andrea Bargnani is pretty underrated imo for some reason... Brandon Roy seems to be a lock for ROY, Bargnani playing really well and not getting much recognition. How bout Rudy Gay....lately?
