Signs is utterly atrocious filmmaking. Arrogant and insulting to astonishing degrees. M Night is a gimmick director who's made one decent movie in Sixth Sense.

    IMO of course.

no love for the police academy series.

it had a lot of action in those movies.

my favorites had to be 1 3 and 4.

police academy 7, mission to moscow was ****. poop, crap, number 2. turd

does that one movie, toy soldiers count as action? ESPN pg2 gave it some run.

He's still a top notch director. There are very few directors out there who have true lasting power or continued commercial success for that matter.

Good mention on Road to Perdition. That movie was outstanding.

Good movie, but it's not an action flick. It's a Crime/Drama.

It's not really a great movie, but I tend to not change the station when it's on is Harley Davidson and the Marlboro Man.

Top notch in terms of being able to sell, not in terms of filmmaking as an art. He's a joke.

But the vast majority of people go to movies for entertainment, not for the artistic viewpoint. I'm sure he couldn't care less that artsy fartsy types think he's a joke. Plus, Paul Giamatti is in his next flick, so there. :p

    Recognize, you b****es.

Chow Yun-Fat and his associates literally kill off 10,000 people- including a old lady who unfortunately spat in front of Chow.

Then Chow Yun-Fat came to Hollywood and turned into a pu$$y. WTF

    LOLOL :D

AWESOME MOVIE!!! The scene where he is hiding the pistols in flower pots around the hotel while making out with this chick and the following scene where he slaughters 10 or 20 people with those hidden weapons are some of the best action scenes I've seen in my life.

And shepherds we shall be, for thee my Lord for thee, Power hath descended forth from thy hand, that our feet may swiftly carry out thy command, we shall flow a river forth to thee, and teeming with souls shall it ever be. In nomine patris, et filii et spiritus sancti.

I've had someone else recently recommend this movie to me, so now it is on my queue on Netflix. Should receive it in a few days. Question, I've heard someone compare it to The Matrix in some ways...is it a movie appropriate for kids?

I wouldn't recommend it for kids.
