I'm sure its already been said but I'll say it anyways: Practice? Practice? We takin' bout practice man! Not the game, practice! Practice, practice man. We takin' bout practice.
The team was 41-14 when they acquired Mutombo. Larry Brown was the most important part of that team. Iverson was their best player.
Not in the sense that I'd be scared to contain him. If you have to choose between doubling Kevin Durant and doubling Westbrook, you choose the latter every time. And if you take Durant off of that team and leave Westbrook alone, then you don't even worry about doubling him - just play him straight man and have him shoot the low percentage shots all the time. Your point is taken, though - obviously Westbrook isn't a worthless player on offense. He's just not someone who strikes me as significantly more of a threat than any other NBA-caliber player on the floor.
Overrated- team player Underrated- player If he had passing skills of Jason Kidd, he would be still playing. If he had the mentality of MJ, he still be playing. If had Battier's persona, he would still be playing. But, he is Iverson, who puts himself first instead of team. Iverson had a posse when he was playing which equates to his current financial condition which scare teams because they don't know if he is playing for money, or for basketball reasons. If he didn't burn bridges with most of his teams for holding out, or making up injuries, he would be in the NBA. If he kept playing, he would of been top 10 in all-time NBA scoring, regardless he will be in HOF despite his deficiencies.
