Actually, my point is this jealousy of Amare is stupid. I really don't care but I just get tired of seeing people still knock him because he won the rookie of the year award when its silly. This thread has been derailed by the pissing match between SJC and pgabriel. It started with pgabriel bashing YOFs when there was nothing about Yao in the posts. I think it's about time to close the thread.
There was nothing about Yao in my post, just his myopic only fans. The point was they need to lay off Amare. Reading Comprehension. That's the second time you've made that mistake. The thread is about underrated players and someone mentioned Amare but they didn't think he was underrated. So he derailed the thread for me.
pgab- hikanoo said marion was underrated relative to stoudemire. he never said amare was overrated, just that he got more press than marion. that's not a amare bashing, just the truth: the matrix gets less press coverage/hype than the athletic kid freak.
If Amare gets more press than someone who is underrated and much better than him, then he must be overrated.
