Pick up the towel and wipe my landscape off of your wife's forehead. Yeah, it could go on and on and I would own you. Just stop. This is not the thread you were looking for.
You can dish it out, but you can't take it, huh? Who's lame now, bringing in low blows? Be gone, youngster.
Blame my buddy here in Katy for introducing me to the wife stuff...It really works! (LOL) By the way... Seriously, quit ruing another thread with your lame ****.

Maybe he don't qualify b/c he's (still) fairly popular but powerful nonetheless: <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/FgtjSPkuJ-E" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
I don't know how neglected these two are, as they have a bunch of fans, but they never were super popular or anything: Stephen Malkmus, Joanna Newsom.
Not neglected, maybe, certainly not by me, but some folks may not be familiar with the late, great Warren Zevon. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/AbmS5Pq6e7A" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/xZ8xO6BrZRU" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Have you seen the biopic, Greetings from Tim Buckley? I really want to watch it but I may not get a chance with its limited release, unless I go bootleg. I hate when they make me do that.
I'm a big fan of Tim Buckley and his dad too. But I'm wondering if we're talking about songwriters or song interpreters, or both on this thread. In any case, I'll honor both Tim Buckley and Leonard Cohen. A great song and a great interpreter! I don't know how I can watch the guy playing Buckley without a maccaron taste of Gossip Girl.

After listening to a majority of the songs listed and reading swoly d repeated dumb ass post, Im left with the same impression... depression. Not all "neglected" songwriters write songs that make me remember my dead Mom right? Just saying, its not all doom and gloom.

Whether you like his music or not, there's no denying that Conor Oberst is one of the greatest songwriters of his generation. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/Ol7UeGiv7n8" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/5aZh261KZWI" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
