Have you seen his ****tiest mixtape video? He became famous after making several videos on Youtube that went viral. He used to show them at his weekly standup show at UCB Theatre in Manhattan called Crash Test. This was back in 2005 or so, and about 25-30 people would show up to his free shows. That is what got him and his video mates the Human Giant Show. He also has some funny earlier work with the Shutterbugs. The fact that nobody here has said Dane Cook gives me hope that humans as a race might just make it after all. Oh, and Louis C.K. should be arrested for how funny he is. Aziz Ansari is a close second. Also, I don't think anybody who's comedy act is based solely on their race (Russell Peters, George Lopez, etc) should be considered. They're damned funny, but they've found their niche, and they stay within it. I think in order to go across boundaries, you've gotta branch out, and take risks with other subject matter. JMHO however. To each his own.
I can't believe you guys picked Dave Chappelle for funniest man? I think people from other countries would throw rocks at him for his racist jokes.
I was playing xbox live the other days and there were these 2 douchy black guys on there just ripping on white people. They were saying how no white person is funny EXCEPT for Dane Cook..... and they were completely serious. I had to go off on them after that.
