Times change and Players Change. If the question had been who do you hate more Jazz of the 90's or the Mavs of the 2000's then I would have gone Jazz. But right now it's the Mavs.
I hateeeeeeeeeeeee the Spurs. They should have lost to the Suns last year if it wasn't for that that joke of a decision by David Spurn.
At any one period of time I usually hate the team that has my most hated player on it. At the moment I can't stand devin harris. I want to punch someone every time he flops and gets the call. nowitzki is a close second. So it's mavs at the moment and it's been like that for a 3-4 years now.
I don't understand why people put the Spurs over Mavs/Utah. I mean I see that they're a winning team and have won championships, but we haven't really had any immediate encounters with them like we did with Mavs and Utah. Also to add one more point, I feel like our recent loss to Utah was more legit than the one with Mavs. Utah pretty much out-rebounded, out-hustled, and frankly, out played us. Where the Mavs in 2005 had Cuban's whiny ass all over the refs.
Poll is probably slightly skewed because of last playoffs/last night, but I still hate the Mavs more...
fans from the 80's probably hate the lakers most fans from the 90's probably hate the jazz/sonics most fans from 2k on probably hate mavs/spurs most different eras different enemies.
Offtopic, but this is probably the worst thing that could happen. I am not convinced that the refs can differentiate between legit contact and flops. I mean they fall even for the most blatant of them. The only solution I see is if the league reviewed every game and counted all the flops (they're pretty obvious, shouldn't be too hard to do that) and say, for every 3 flops a player gets a one game suspension. Or something like that.
I think you're being a little to harsh on Ginobili On a serious note, this would be great, but I think it's too easy for the players to fight back. I say lets the players do what they do, Dictator Stern has already done enough to take away the fun out of it for the players. If anything, he should fix the refs.. which is a lot harder than fixing the players. I remember someone on this board saying that finding a good players is easy while finding a good ref is hard. His thoughts on this is right on the money. But basically I think Stern can do no right. Either screw himself over by disciplining the refs or screw the the players by letting it slide.
jazz easy,......i have been hating them since the karlmalone/stockton days i like williams but i hate all the other players
The Jazz-Rockets rivalry goes back to Stockton-Malone vs. Hakeem days, so that's my pick. I've always thought they were a bunch of pansies playing basketball and still are. The Mavericks are a close second because of their annoying factor. I hate how arrogant they act during the regular seaon then lose in the postseason and blame other people for their loss. The Lakers haven't been serious contenders for a couple seasons now so I don't care much for them right now.
But there is really no reason other to hate the mavs other than that they are from Dallas. Utah is a legitimate, longlasting rivalry.
The Jazz would have to be our most hated since we have more history against them. They've always been a dirty team. Remember the bear hug from Malone in 97. How do you not call that! Mavs come in second cause they are from Dallas and really cocky.
and TMac and Yao should have been ahead of Dirk for MVP race. Just cause they won 67 games doesn't mean he was their most valuable player.
I hate the Jazz pretty bad. Those yellow-complexion-having mother****ers. Salt Lake City is trash, the Failman is trash, take your Stockton statue and your crybaby Beckham-on-crack scarecrow and toss 'em your silly-ass lake. I wanna watch 'em float for a while. And hey, Mavericks? Suck it. You are Dallas. Live with that.
It is unfair to Jazz, we just lost a 7games seris to them and played 1 season game, but those guys in Jazz team are respectable, they are hard working players with good team work. I do not respect anybody(maybe except their coach) in Mavs team because they don't respect anybody. And I hate Cuban's fat face.
