    I guess you know better than most people who list the city as "stylish" and another fashion index who has them higher than Dallas. I never said anything about NYC or LA. Their fashion in SF is not on that level, but Dallas? Dallas is more like Houston, if there's a city that deals with fashion in Texas, it's probably Austin.

    And no, it's not the opposite of NYC. Not everyone in NYC dresses up that way. SF isn't THAT much different than anywhere else.

    It starts with haute couture, then trickles down. Even vintage/thrift and low end is a replica of some couture style from the 20th century. The fashion industry is just recycled trends with a shiny tag on it.. that's why boutiques are so relevant to this list. And the population of hot women per city.
