Tweaked his hammy while dominating the Raptors on Saturday. It didn't look severe but you never know.

And people laughed at me when I said Blake would be an upgrade at PG to Rafer.

    Yeah...never doubt the NostraDDamus.

huge win for the blazers aldridge was huge.

the blazers scored a basket at the end of the first half with 6 players on the court, but by real the refs couldnt take the basket away. the boston announcers kept talking about that the entire 2nd half.

BUT paul pierce was given 5 points in crunch time by the refs. once where he traveled really bad, he stopped in the lane then took about 3 steps and got fouled. I have no idea how any of the refs missed that travel. Then on the next play he drove in and got an 'and 1' when it should have been a charge. oden was in front of the circle and there in time.

I've gotta admit it now. This is the best Blake has ever played in his career by far. I read about how hard he worked during the summer but I took it with a grain of salt. Remarkable! The results speak for themselves. Major props to the guy an hope he keeps it up all season.

When you put a decent PG among better players, they get exponentially better because they are asked to only play to their strengths......it is the same reason Brooks plays great with the starters, he gets less attention.

That is a good point. Blake always looked like a good shooter to me as well as pass first PG. He also works hard on defense with his only real limitations being the lack of athletic ability. I'm not surprised that he is better than Rafer but I will admit I didn't think he would have been able to score this well against a very solid defensive ball club like the Celtics especially in the absence of Brandon Roy.

    Saleem,

PGs are the postion that is effected the most by the players they are surrounded with...a good PG can get a lot of wide open looks for his teamates, but if they are bad shooters or have bad hands, he is not going to look that great.

But if you surround him with good shooters with soft hands....oooh baby...
