Most Disappointing Players at the 1/4 Mark of the Season

    Dwight Howard, from the way the people were talking on ESPN and NBA column he supposed to be the greatest center in the league who was on a plateau of his own. Yet, he's barely leading in rebounding and averaging under 20 ppg. Good defender, but great, hardly. C'mon, I thought this guy was supposed to be like 20x better than Yao.

    New Jersey as a team, Thought they would be approaching the playoff picture (8-10) and somewhat competitive in the East. The losing streak is historically bad ... for a team, which on paper is fairly decent.

    Hedo and the raptors just picked up solid road wins over the Wizards and Blowout vs the Bulls. That sunday game vs Houston is unfortunate for them, right when they start winning... Oh Well

    Also Al Jefferson is coming off an injury so I don't think it just has to do with the death of his Grandpa.

    ugh i have big al on my fantasy team as well. took him 14th overall too. it's still early in the season though we'll see where he is by all star break.

    1) Al Jefferson: Yes, he's coming off an injury, but I was still expecting him to average 20 and 10.

    2) Hasheem Thabeet: Another fail pick by Memphis? Wasn't he supposed to lead all rookies in blocks and rebounds?

    3) Jose Calderon: I was kind of expecting him to take his game to the next level and possibly become an elite point guard. Right now, he's just a good PG, and Toronto needs him to take that next step if they want to make any noise in the East.

    foreal....tracy hasnt even played we knew he wouldnt yet or maybe would barely have started 2 so how is he disapointing

    Dwight's doing what he's always doing. He's actually only shooting 9 times a game and making 60% His scoring looks down cuz Vince is taking some of his shots. But his presence legitimizes everything they do and allows their perimeter guys to get open looks. I say props to him for 1) not complaining about his lack of shots and 2) respectfully telling his coach to fall back with the negativity. Orlando's 16-4 and is even better than they were last year.

    He has had an ankle injury. Teams adjust to weaknesses. His jumper is weak.

    Vince is a 2nd tier star. Lee is a role player. It's too much to expect him to carry that load.

    how does the #2 overall pick not get any run at all on a bad team?

    terrible pick by memphis absolute garbage esp when there were other better players on the board

    A little to early in his career...? How much better do you expect this guy to get ?

    The numbers hes putting up right now are near Lebron numbers.

    He's far better than Brandon Roy whom you compared him to.

    wayyyy too early

    but i expected alot more from Derrick Rose, Devon Harris, and Ben Gordan.
    i was kinda looking forward to Rose exploding this season since he ended last season with an amazing attempt to knock the more talented Celtics out of the playoff race. But it never happened
    Devon Harris needs to start playing
    Ive heard 0 news about Gordan.. he needs to start playing like he did with the bulls..
