No, trust me -- the school/faculty is a huge factor. I was one of those "born to be an engineer" types ... total nerd in high school, loved math and problem solving so much that I would spend leisure time solving the hardest problems in the back of obscure textbooks. I had a much easier time going through the EE program than most of my peers, but I wouldn't dare say it was easy. Especially classes like Circuits. You slacked, you failed. It was as simple as that. We had weed-out classes. Numerical methods, circuits. The junior and senior level classes were easier -- I had no difficulties with any of them except Advanced Digital Design which was just absolutely tedious and draining. But you simply don't slack through your sophomore year. It doesn't happen at the UH ECE dept.
I went to Morehouse (all guy school). I took swimming at Spelman, the all girl school across the street. I guarantee none of you had as hard a time focusing in your classes as I did in that one. Winner winner, chicken dinner....
My colleague B-Bob has alerted me to your posts and offered the use of his account. Just know that I'll be watching you, and that I can change grades retroactively.
I think I'm the first to say Psychology. I HATED IT. I managed a C in it. I just couldn't get the concepts and use them on our tests.
