That's not accomplished, that's just well known.

    Scola.

NBA Championships/Titles can be competed for every year.

FIBA World Championships and Olympic medals are only up for competition once every four years ... so more value should be placed on these (not many on offer - hence "rare"/harder to get).

The thing is: It is kind of a trick question...

Look at Ariza for example. He would definitely trade his ring for a gold medal. Maybe not for the medal itself, but being called to Team USA would mean he is one of the best players in basketball (which he is not). So Ariza will never win a Gold Medal no matter how hard he tries, because he simply is not talented enough to make Team USA.

Then look at Carmelo Anthony. He has a gold medal but has not won an NBA championship. And there is a chance he never will. I still do not think he would trade it. If he keeps playing well he will still be remembered as one of the greats. No one questions Malone's or Barkley's importance to the game because they did not win a championship. Cannot really compare them to Carmelo, because being part of the Dream Team was the ultimate honor. But it is sort of the same logic.

Ariza was a role player in the team winnin such ring (Luc Longley has several rings, not just one).

OTOH... Scola had 25 ps 11 rebs in the title matchs, stats wise and contribution wise, he was even ahead of ginobili in that tournament....

I guess such counts...Besides, the title says 'most accomplished player', not most accomplished in the NBA...

Luis Scola for sure. Dude carried Argentina himself like a superstar to a literal WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP.
