The window into trump's bizarre and self-centered mind... multiple tweets about his ratings (#poor ratings, #low energy) and not on the 1,200 Americans that died yesterday nor the 186,000 Americans that died thanks to his slow and ineffective response...
He really disgusts me. Ugh, his White House showboating Hatch Act violating mask optional gala of and flaunting it in the face of everyone is just a sign of how far he'll push his power.
Trump basically hates around half the population. Good to know. Thanks for being such an objective man of principle, Mr. President.
His ragging on Woodward is weird. Woodward has a new Trump book called Rage coming out on 09/15 that Trump agreed to be interviewed for. "In January, Trump revealed he had sat down with Woodward for the upcoming book, which came as a surprise after he was harshly critical of "Fear." Woodward had repeatedly offered Trump the opportunity to be interviewed for that book, but Trump pretended he had never received the requests. According to multiple sources familiar with the book, Woodward conducted 17 interviews with Trump for "Rage" at the White House, Mar-a-Lago and over the phone between December 2019 and late July 2020."
The reality... trump only announced awarding holtz the Presidential Medal of Freedom because holtz spoke at the rnc and denounced protesters. Column: ‘Not my coach.’ Notre Dame icon Lou Holtz risks estrangement from the university and his former players with his tone-deaf RNC speech. https://www.chicagotribune.com/spor...0200830-q3o7hh4nezccth4abc5zgkydlq-story.html
tJust as with Veterans Choice, trump has been lying about military pay raises for years: AP Fact Check Politics United States AP FACT CHECK: Trump’s false statement on military pay By CALVIN WOODWARD and HOPE YEN July 1, 2019 US President Donald Trump speaks to military personnel and their families stationed in South Korea in Osan Air Base, south of Seoul, Sunday June 30, 2019. With wide grins and a historic handshake, President Donald Trump and North Korea's Kim Jong Un met at the heavily fortified Demilitarized Zone on Sunday and agreed to revive talks on the pariah nation's nuclear program. Trump, pressing his bid for a legacy-defining deal, became the first sitting American leader to step into North Korea. (Ed Jones/Pool via AP) WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump is kicking off a flag-waving week with the false statement that he gave troops their first raise in a decade. TRUMP: “You also got very nice pay raises for the last couple of years. Congratulations. Oh, you care about that. They care about that. I didn’t think you noticed. Yeah, you were entitled. You know, it was close to 10 years before you had an increase. Ten years. And we said, ‘It’s time.’ And you got a couple of good ones, big ones, nice ones.” — remarks Sunday to service members at Osan Air Base, South Korea. THE FACTS: He’s been spreading this falsehood for more than a year, soaking up cheers from crowds for something he didn’t do. In May 2018, for example, he declared to graduates of the United States Naval Academy: “We just got you a big pay raise. First time in 10 years.” U.S. military members have received a pay raise every year for decades . Trump also boasts about the size of the military pay raises under his administration, but there’s nothing extraordinary about them. Several raises in the last decade have been larger than service members are getting under Trump — 2.6% this year, 2.4% last year, 2.1% in 2017. Raises in 2008, 2009 and 2010, for example, were all 3.4% or more. Pay increases shrank after that because of congressionally mandated budget caps. Trump and Congress did break a trend that began in 2011 of pay raises that hovered between 1% and 2%. https://apnews.com/782a6b786f294ecab8dbfc05ab32d3bb
Oh, believe me, I know from experience. I also know my taxes didn't go down with Trump as President. I guess I'm not rich enough to get the HUGE tax decrease.
