    Problem is, we don't have the "join us and win a championship" edge like we did last year.

    We lost Yao, Artest, and possibly McGrady for 1-3 months.

    We just don't appeal.

    I thought he sucked in summer league? Oh well, I still think a big move is going to happen before the end of the summer. I still think it involves Battier and possibly Landry too.

    Thanks for posting the terms, batkins. Looks like Morey learned his "lesson" from Landry's rookie year. Very small and manageable yet lengthy contract. Epitome of the "low risk, high reward" concept.

    He gave Dorsey a similar deal, if I'm not mistaken. Not sure if Landry's agent would have gone for it.

    I wonder if Taylor was signed for the rookie min or more. Some lower half second rounders this season have been signed for around $600k.

    Agreed that's why I put 'lesson' in quotations. It just looked bad in hindsight that Landry panned out so well and we only had him signed for one year.
