Honestly I think the Analytics are fine . . .the problem is that some things need to be added to the Equation 1. The 3 ball is more efficient than others - HOWEVER - Please add to it that the Rebounds are longer and the bigs are out of position. Please analyze how it allows the opposition to get out onto the break 2. I also think they need to work on implementation There is more than one way to get to the lane Picks, Cuts, etc . . . these are NOT being used effectively 3. Analyze the 'shrinking of the court' I think the highly publicized ideal . . . means as an opposing coach I tell my guys to not go for mid range pump fakes I tell my guys to take charges cause they not going any to stop and pop I would like to see how many charges we have received versus the league I think the Analytics are just not complete enough Rocket River
So much this. The actual number of 3 point specialists that you can actually afford to put on the court is a lot smaller than some would think.
Want to know something. . its a secret but I will tell you In the playoffs, the opponent will not give you that so much open shot of LONG TWO points, either. Rocket River
Considering that DJ is allowed to camp in the paint all series long . . .well there is that Rocket River
haha....i still can't figure out what cuss word the OP typed. Nothing makes sense, anymore than "Morey's theory is a GARBAGE"
I'm guessing English may be his second language, so I will go easy on him. It's like the dude in office space who mixes up all of his curse words. It's endearing.
Of course, starting with Steve Novak and later Chase Budinger all the way through Troy Daniels, we have gotten rid of our best trey producers. They all had weaknesses, but they could swish the nets.
I think the Rockets needs to focus on getting players on the right side of 30 who can shoot 3's. Those are the guys who will be able to run around and stay with the CP3 and Redicks of the world.
