Really? No one mentions Brooks? Was Von really that bad at defense?

Gotta be Wafer. His own teammates made fun of him for being so stupid.

    There's only two options

Von Wafer, or LOL Kevin Martin.

Both shet defenders but shoots and drives.

If you pull out the dumb part, it's down to those two.

Well with the way Vonilla played D, he makes Martin look like Battier of 2004/2005

If DM considers Wafer effective than he should probably raise his standards a bit.

Not sure Morey would claim him as his own, but he was at least witness to the Kirk Snyder experience.

Von was effective. Effective enough to earn 20 mpg from Adelman on a 50+ win team. In a way, his success that year based on a principle not unlike that of Battier's ability to be effective: basketball minimalism. Have skills that helps the team, stick to using these skills, and try not to damage your team with the stuff that you can't do.

I would think its Terrence Williams based on his playing time lately. If he's not Stromile slow, he's not as good a fit as Lee apparently. It's like watching a top D1 football teams depth chart. Sometimes the stopgap is better than the bandaid with high potential.
