    1. Get a coach who challenges you, does not just blindly follow whatever data or theory you provide. It's easy to hire a coach who totally agrees with you like MDA. Not saying that's what happened, but can imagine Morey after having a coach that went all in, will not suddenly go back to a coach who does things differently and wants Morey to get some bigs for example. Still, while it's good to have someone who to some degree agrees with Morey's philosophy that a 3 > 2 and you should try to have as many easy points at the basket or through FTs, I'd like to Morey hire a coach who can to a large degree decide how to implement that strategy and will be limited by Morey's data without context.

    2. Get at least one three point shooter who is consistent. Watching the Heat play, it's so key that have Robinson knocking them 40%+ of his threes on a consistent basis. We had RoCo going loco for a few games, but Robinson been doing it the whole season and going to 50% lately. Now we have Ben, but he will never be a big role player I fear. Gordon is wildly inconsistent for a great shooter. Both him and Harden probably shoot too much. It would be great and actually is long overdue as well as necessary for his strategy to work. That is why going back on committing to Reddick was probably his biggest FA miss, since we had him, and then Morey tried to get most out of the deal. Should've done that with Ryan Anderson or Gordon, not with JJ. If he can bring back Gerald Green, that would be aces, since he's at least not shy and would be perfect to return.

    3. Either upgrade or give PJ Tucker his due. The guy has been on a contract that at the time was already on the low end, but he wanted to play for a winner and CP3's relationship really helped bring him here. Now it's time to either reward him or let him go. Cannot lowball him and try to get him on a cheap deal. So it's easy, you think you can upgrade, then thank PJ for his services or just come in there and give him a 2+1 or 1+1 deal since he is getting older, with a player option as the +1 that he cannot say no to.

His goal should have been to move Gordon for the final piece to a championship. Gordon didn’t let that happen. Westbrook’s play/health and need for a gimmick offense because Harden is here makes him odd man out because we need size.

I know that's not a good practice to reward players for outstanding PAST services, but I would make an exception to PJ, especially because I think he has at least 2 more good years on that body.

Dude has given this franchise his all, and it was good. Give him a 2-year extension.

    1. Hire a coach that continues what we are doing but fixes the little things.

    2. find a way into the draft.

the rest are all paths that may happen some go together some are only possible without others existing.

    3. Find a big man. 2 options: A) cheap version of Capela 15-20 MPG, see : NERLENS NOEL via FA or RICHAUN HOLMES via TRADE. B) Floor spacing big that can play next to Russ see BOBBY PORTIS via FA , MYLES TURNER via TRADE. see CHRISTIAN WOOD, SERGE IBAKA or JERAMI GRANT via long-shot FA or SNT. D SABONIS via LONGSHOT trade.

Indy has to choose Sabonis or Turner most likely with MDA coming in. Imagine having Sabonis run our offense when Harden sits. we would definitely be versatile. Russ running off ball as Sabo camps at the top of the key.

    4. Depending on what happens with Gordon (who and if he is traded changes need) try to find another guard we can trust to run the offense or atleast act as sixth man. see DJ AUGUSTINE via FA see JORDAN CLARKSON via long shot FA. See DA MELTON reunited via FA.see MALCOLM BROGDON via trade.

    5. More versatile wings see JAE CROWDER via long shot FA, see OUBRE via trade , see OTTO PORTER via trade, see JUSTISE WINSLOW via trade . see TJ WARREN via trade. We got the best of the bunch in RoCo it’s time to get another. This is the most difficult position to fill because once you have one of these guys and are contending it’s hard to let them go. Luckily none of these teams are contenders except Crowder in Miami. I can’t see Riley letting him go.

    4. Shoot an open midrange jumper instead of kicking it out for a contested 3

Only way Westbrook can improve his 3 point shot is to stop taking them.

Get a damn big man who can help james in P&R. As much as small ball helped Russ it took away one of James best skills. My main problem with morey and MDA isn't their way of thinking, it's their inabilit to adjust when said thinking clearly isn't working

We need a starting big that can hit 3s. That should be the #1 priority for Morey. You can still go small ball in crunch time but the team would benefit greatly (Tucker would benefit greatly) if we had a big that can stretch defenses. Throw the full Non-Tax Payer MLE at any of the guys below and hope one bites:

    David Bertans
    Christian Wood
    Aron Baynes

I'd add "Find a way to deal either Westbrook or Gordon for a competent starting big man with some shooting range."

Harden takes the hardest contested threes in the league. If his feet were set more often, he would make more. Three point percentage isn't always a true indicator of a persons talent from there. Lots of factors go in to it
