I'm not buying that the Rockets are getting Cook, the reported deal does not work on the trade checker. If we get 3 or 4 players, then we have to cut players off our current roster. Maybe Cook is going to Memphis?

Are you really that naive? When Yao Ming gets hurt for the season and Mclady is your leader and top scorer. The same guy who couldn't put up more than1 point in two 4th quarters and you think that is a reflection on Morey? You guys obviously forgot about what a pathetic GM Dawson was and how badly he destroyed the Rockets for years and how Morey dug us out of that hole. Why is it this team never has a good back up for him and he has to play big minutes? Who's fault is it then? You can point to this and that. In fact, Scola deal has more to do with Lindsy if you want to argue the fine points. There are moves that worked out, there are moves that doesn't, and he later has to pay a price to correct. Last season year when Morey trade Bonzi to get Bobby Jackson, many people hate the trade. Until he trade Bobby to get Ron Artest this season. I am going to wait and see how this turn out.

Morey has gone out and gotten tons of talent that looked great when coming in, but he is just the GM and he can't MAKE the players play great. Apparently you were rooting for another team when Dawson was here and put the team in a horrible financial situation where we couldn't sign anyone for years and Morey quickly corrected that. He was enough smart enough to be able to possibly trade Tmac but Tmac ruined any potential deal we had, so now we've got to roll with the punches with the current situation and Morey is making this team younger and better on the defensive end now. If you can't appreciate an aggressive GM like Morey who is doing everything humanly possible to put a championship team together, then you're one of those guys that doesn't pay attention to the league or remember what it was like under Dawson who only signed horrible guys for horrible contracts. The Rockets are looking good for the future and will continue to. Now move along ROOKIE FAN.
