Well to me it depends on what offer is on the table. The thing is I think there's an 80% chance NY is in the lottery this year, I'd hate to give away a sure fire lottery pick unless its for a bonafide (and yong) superstar. I don't know about you but I've had enough of the "win now" mentality that has characterized the Yao era. I'd rather use it and start building for the future.
Just wanted to add that we also gained an expiring contract with JJ, that could very well come in handy come trade deadline. That is almost as valuable as the picks when it comes to trade as we'll need the filler. Sure we had Battier already, but it never hurts to have an extra piece.
