Morey is absolutely right. Usually it's better to take the high road when journalists write crap, but as someone said, it's the offseason, so why not hit back. Solomon can only dream of being as smart and successful as Morey. Morey is the man who keeps getting aces if he splits at Blackjack. And @ abc2007 - if Morey had wanted to be MVP in China, he could have been MVP in China. He's that good.

Lol, I was thinking the same thing. As someone who is a reporter and deals with these sorts of issues (in North Texas, not Houston of course), this guy really irks me sometimes with his self-riotous attitude about all the wrong things. He’s standing against this marketing giant, the Houston Rockets. Yeah, OK, so they market us as doing well this season, so what? It’s their job. What if that is the case? The guy totally bashed on hundreds of people within the Rockets organization without reason. The team clearly wasn’t going to contend this year so he needs to stop whining. Being a journalist and having an opinion is OK, but using to hurt people’s good efforts this year sucks. Yeah, I’m sure the Owner Les opened his wallet up to acquire Chase and JT for kicks. I’m sure with Yao Ming gone and a quick, haphazardly overpaid Center would have made us better than the Lakers. Sure Solomon, sure. Morey has every right to call him out on this bull****. I know solomon and where he came from and where he is. i'm not defending his article because he cleary wrote to get you guys riled up. but he is a columnist with the chronicle and he used to be one with arguably the most influential sports section in the country, the boston globe. so he's pretty successful in his own right.
