Three of our five worst defensive performances of the year have come in the past few games (@CHA,CHI,MIA).

Our players can't secure rebounds, giving the Hawks too many 2nd chance opportunities. Plus Scola was getting abused when he had to protect the middle when Hayes was out. Scola is not a good interior defender, but we depend on his post up presence so he's out there at times manning the center position when clearly he's not suited for it.

Morey knows our team defense is very bad right now. Having good individual defenders like Hayes, Battier, and sometimes Ariza does no good when the help defense and the scramble D on rotating to the open man is slow.
