D-League showcase in Idaho, I think. Lots of NBA front office guys are there. Good place to talk trade.

Well, at least it's not a Ray Allen-type tweet.

dmorey We are just not playing well. Not getting good shots¬ making shots we get.TOs.Start of 1st&3rd needs new approach.AB/Carl kept us in it.

    -------------------------------------------------------

Maybe DM is going to break up the Battriza combo that is killing our offense, or perhaps sit Hayes?

Could be. Our starting lineup is getting exposed by good teams. Opponents can pretty much let AB shoot and keep everybody else in check.

I agree with the changing approach thing. Sign Von and then bring him off the bench, move Lowry into the starting lineup.

    Hayes
    Scola
    Ariza
    Brooks
    Lowry.

Lowry and Ariza should be able to cover the SG/SF of most teams.

Von will be a sparkplug, Lowry has earned a few more minutes and AB will play a little more to his strength.

Battier, Von, Cbud and Landry as your 4 guys off the bench.

Luis is still playing pretty well overall, but has averaged 24 minutes per game these past two games. Seems he would normally play more.

I'm not into reading tea leaves, so someone tell me Scola isn't injured or about to be included in a deal.

Landry is slow taking over Luis Scola's role.

RT @johnhollinger: Southwest Division: Five teams over .500. Entire Eastern Conference: Four teams over .500

Our D struggled. SJackson did not. We often make ourselves very easy to guard. Scola/@klow7 effort impressive. Solid minutes from Chase.

I was sort of disappointed when JVG left, because I loved his quotes. Daryl Morey has filled that void.

dmorey: Low intensity D. On nights when we make shots we have to get the W. We have no margin for error - we need an unexpected road victory now.

    After the Bucks game:

dmorey: Not a playoff team w/o change.Need urgency to build leads, cannot be satisfied w/slim margins we manage to the end.AB set up 17 good shots.

Seems pretty certain a significant change will occur before the trade deadline. Nothing new of course to expect that but the chances that we just let Tmac expire are pretty slim now.

He meant change in attitude or focus of the players in the game, not that he's about to make a move. Morey's always looking to improve the team at all times no matter what, but in context of tonight's game he means that we've been playing without a certain acuity that we started the season with and something's gotta change in our performance if we are to make the playoffs, not that a roster change is imminent.

Just do not get rid of Luis, Carl or Shane!

Trades are hard for me.... :(

    ....And I still miss Cuttino.

Tough Juice being a Rocket would be great for me...I can tolerate Iggy.
