Unless Bosh has already heard a lot of the pitch in previous days and the face-to-face was the formality of only dealing with free agents at the prescribed time. ;)

I mean, I mean, that would be considered tampering and Morey would never do that etc etc even though the whole league has been doing it and etc etc....

    i could not agree more
i think every team can match what we have for Bosh except:
1- a great center, even with a past of injuries, because Yao is such a great player that even if not at 100% of his shape he id DOMINANT in the paint; and as we've noticed, u MUST have a great big guy to win a champ
Bynum played with the Lakers even if injured and look at the difference! they won against Boston

2- Chinese market cannot be negligible: the man would get the All star game even if he plays NBAlive at home   and of course a lotta money coming in with a modest all star teammate Yao

3- Supporting cast: in Houston he can be well surronded, and to win u cannott just be a superstar, u have to have the right pieces around to win

4- What we can give to Toronto via SNT : no other team has the assets that Rockets have

conclusion: Bosh come on   we're waiting ;)

Yes but Gortat ended up signing for the MLE. Morey could have pursued him at that price as well but backed off because he didn't think he was worth it. I think it's perfectly valid to say that Morey decided to back off Gortat and not the other way around.

    4
    Chris Bosh
    Luis Scola
    Patrick Patterson
    5
    Yao Ming
    Jordan Hill
    Chuck Hayes

Yao will be playing far less minutes, and we will most likely have injury problems...

I think fans shouldn't get their hopes up, unless you want to be let down big time. It's highly unlikely Bosh will come here, I think Morey's focusing on other alternatives now. I'm interested to see what else he has cooking.

yao is going to be playing 25 min a game at the beginning of the season, which isn't that bad.
