Some of you guys are awesome at making something out of nothing. It's entirely possible that he believes the 1st round to be 22 deep. Is that amazing or useful in itself? No. Do you really think other teams have the exact 22 that he has and this completely undermines our draft strategy? It's not like he listed them.
It's even funnier that people always want opinions and it seems that Morey is actually being honest with his opinion. Yet, criticism comes from the same people. Maybe it is best to just stop talking to the fans and let them figure it out for themselves.
I love little details like this because they offer insight into the organization's process. Very cool!

Ridiculous, he's been a great GM, but I do think he's too chatty. If you want to bash him, fine, but don't expect anyone to pay attention to your criticisms unless you can back them up, something you didn't and probably couldn't do.
I like Morey, but I wish he wouldn't be so socially available. I'd prefer he do his talking post-draft instead of tweeting about it a few days before.

Who cares if he's socially available... not like he's leaking the biggest secrets ever. Hell, when we actually make trades...guess who's the LAST to comment on them? You guessed it, Daryl Morey. But, I'd expect nothing less out of clutchfans.
Morey is just culling the field for more assets, in preparation for next year's draft. There's no real splash here (unless we somehow finagle the #2 pick).
Seriously, you people that think these sort of tweets are meant for other teams and not just general musings for the fan base need to take your tin foil hats off, no team is going to buy into the "number of quality players" from someone else, that's what they're all paying their staff for.

Morey won't say anything he hasn't considered before he hits the post button. I do like his tidbits of information because they entertain me, that's what sports are, entertainment. He may get a quick chuckle out of a duplicitous intent but I wouldn't expect him to think any GM's would take his tweets as serious strategy reveals. He seems like a cool guy who enjoys his job and shares the fun with us when he can. All us draft-nicks are probably feverishly pouring our draft lists trying to come up with the 22 worthy and the 8 unworthy picks to see which other GM Morey thinks will make a dumb pick. And this is all just opinion that won't be proven for years. As example I give you Hasheem Thabeet: player... garbage...asset.....? Enjoy your team and the draft, It might be all the fun we get for a while.
