    Morey should learn from this partial block...restructure another contract with a different player and trade the new player and Nene salary for Iggy. Afterwards Memphis cuts both players and we get Iggy.

    **Edit never mind, Nene was a special case** unless Shumpert fits under the same rules

    This is why I don't get too caught up in the wins and losses. NBA has never been on the up and up, always had some corruption built in whether it be Donahgy, Crawford, Yao Ming, Cuban, KingsVLakers, Stern, CP3 trade, Rasheed Wallace, Artest, WorriorsVRox, Harden playoff treatment, etc.. And now this Voldemort mf'er is inventing ways to punish teams smarter then him.

    Like I said, it's sports entertainment and that's it. Slightly less scripted then WWE but "scripted" nonetheless.

    CP3 is the worst NBAPA President in a long time. He governs for of his friends and the top 1% of the league. Ignores the middle and lower class and even worst creates rules that hurt those segments.

    Seems like any contract the league can reject should have a "unless the league rejects" clause in it?

    So, this is twice Silver has blocked Morey- the DMO workaround, and this - if it is letter of the law - it should be allowed.

    Agreed, a line-item veto on a contract is totally unfair to all parties. Void the contract if you think it's circumvention, but void the whole thing and let all parties try something else.

    I can see Morey going strong to the hole only to be stuffy by mount Silver. You cannot even do an honest swindle in today's NBA........well, at least not if you are the Rockets.

    Who is to say that players like nene won't resort to hurting players close to the trade deadline like James Ennis did last season!?

    The league is watching the rockets after james ennis injuried lakers #1 pick lonzo ball. I'm telling you that LeBron got his hawks out for the shadiness!

    Don't think Lebron don't have eyes and ears in different places with 150 million!

    The lakers are watching dantoni believe that. Ennis took out Lonzo Ball at the order of MDA the former lakers coach. The Jeannie Buss family is watching the rockets and all of California is watching the rockets including Mda.

    This explains the stuffing of MDA's contract extension.

    silver stuff morey. morey is stuffing mda's extension. Lakers are gonna get their injury exception for cousins so nene deal getting shafted was just politics.

    The LA big market is gonna be back by silver, just politics!
