This has nothing to do with the topic but, does anyone else think Clark Duke from "Sex Drive" could pass for Morey's son?

I am pretty sure when he needs dispassionate decision making, he would go watch the videos and all the information gathered by his staff during and after the game. He doesn't have to analyze the game while he is watching it live.

Morey would be LHAO reading DD's player evaluation posts. ;)

    Does Morey read Clutchfans?

    Can Clutch confirm this?

With out question it depends on the person. Some people get pissed and make decisions while still emotional while more rational people rarely allow themselves to make critical decisions until they have had time to calm down. Morey might be this really smart MIT Grad but he is not some emotionless mythical Vulcan like character. The guy has a right to be passionate about things like basketball and his job, which is probably one of the key reasons he has been so successful. The last thing I want my GM being is dispassionate. With Morey I think we have a GM that is very passionate but able refrain from making snap decisions while in an emotional state.

I'm a huge Daryl Morey fan and think the Rockets are very lucky to have him. Now if the Stros could only get Hunsicker back!

Rocket fans are so lucky to have Morey running this franchise.

I love the passion Morey shows and wouldn't have it any other way.

I smell a move coming within the next month. The Rox are just treading water until they can get the best deal possible at the trade deadline. IMO

I was at the Bucks game sitting the next section over from Morey. My friend and I spotted him in the second quarter. I didn't see him storm off myself, but my friend elbowed me and said, "wow did you see that? morey looks pissed!" I pretty much blew it off because I was really into the game at that point. I was cracking up when I found this thread.

Yes -- he doesn't try to hide this. Morey is a genuine dude. But in this instance, he was emailed the details that he replied to. He may or may not have seen it on the site beforehand.

You can never be a good GM if you don't connect with the real fans. ;)

Only from Vegas and to the west. Some of us are only fortunate to be around DM only here in Houston...

I remember Morey saying in an interview with Bill Simmons last year that he reads everything. Simmons advised him to stay away from message boards, but I don't think he's listening.

And double dayum, looking at the people Morey follows gives out a lot of info on him i believe he should try to hide this stuff/keep it private somehow:
Manu Ginobli, AnnaFegan(bootycall#1), FeliciaStone(bootycall#2), leamichele(bootycall#3-damn you go morey she is fine!), DaDakota(how either he posted a ****load and Morey saw it, or Morey likes his opinions, or he asked Morey to follow him, but this is bad news), GarretTemple (hmm), RealGM(lol) and KEVINSPACEY!!!! HAhaha amazing
