That’s like the exact opposite of what people were saying yesterday.

Would have not preferred a reset with the Astros.

I find it hard to believe Morey wanted Lue over JVG.

Morey's phone will be ringing off the hook, many teams will be wanting him.

This is a really sad day for the Rockets. Morey was a great GM in a world where most GMs are terrible.

Blah blah blah, Harden trade, 65 win team. Competitive every year he was here. Morey was always the constant in this franchise staying afloat while never being in full control of things. This franchise is in the toilet. Literally every GM in the NBA is guilty of the "bad" decisions you are talking about.

He goes down on the high, relatively speaking.

Morey knew he was leaving after Tilman's response to the china tweet. 100% this is because he didn't want to work for someone like that. I'm sure its not the only reason but its the last straw. cost cutting during an MVPs prime? how frustrating must that have been for a GM trying to win?

stone doesn't know anything about basketball. he was a cheap replacement.

does this scare off potential coaches like lue and JVG? it would if I were them.

its going to be hard to root for this team when the owner and front office mostly worry about profits.

Agreed. We should add Giannis. But also Luka, to help with playmaking. If we could get someone like AD (or just get AD himself!) to help with interior defense, that would be nice. Lastly, I would also like to have a jet pack.

Yeah, I would have thought it was the other way around. Morey and JVG seem to be on good terms.

    Yep.

Only thing is I think the Astros owner actually wants to win and be respected.

I think Tilman DOES want to win but he wants to do things his way, the cheap way.

While Cal just DGAF at all either way

We are already there. We are just waiting for the last shoe to drop with Harden.

LOL - good analysis. Also, Billy Beane was a loser, Don Coryell never won any super bowls, and congrats LeBron for now only being 3 championships away from Robert Horry's greatness.
