    Daryl Morey made the decision to leave.

    He is very diplomatic, you draw your own conclusion on why he choose to leave...... suddenly...... after letting the GM in waiting to leave for Sacramento

    Morey wanted Ty to run back small ball, Tillman didn't want none of it.

    I'm not entirely shocked, but a little bit sad. Morey had his faults but he gave the Rockets multiple opportunities to win a championship. They just failed to capitalize.

    I'm sure Monte took the opportunity to be taken from under the iron thumb that is the Fertitta's.

    We are going to suck for a while once Harden leaves and Westbrook is all we have left.... kinda like what happened with BoB trading away DHop but in reverse.

    This blows.

    People do not understand. Morey is literally a brilliant man who pushed the edge of analytics and is on that Mount Rushmore. His tenure here was incredibly successful and one hamstring from a title against a generational dynasty. He developed the code to break the warriors and only a hamstring stopped it. We know it, the warriors don’t want to admit it, but they know it. brilliance like this does not exist in large supply on this planet. There just aren’t that many people who are this smart.

    That has been the problem, for someone this smart he was mostly one step, one hammy, one inch away.....the problem is Tilman is a much worse leader, the alternative.

    I HATE this for the Rockets, DM is a good man and a very good GM.

    However, I have to think this is so much better for DM's career, he doesn't want to be saddled with the mess that Tillman created. DM needs a year or so off, and he will come back stronger.

    Now, for the Rockets - it just makes us SIGNIFICANTLY worse.

    Tillman may finally break the back of many of us 99ers.....I can't stand that MFer - he is a cheap assed con man - who is ruining my favorite sports team.

    I would take Bud Adams corpse over Tillman.
