Luther's expiring for...? I suspect DM the GM has fielded calls, and probably could even receive better talent but at a worse contractural effect. In February Head + Stevie = @$4.5 in expirings for @$3.5 PLAYER in return. Or @$6.0 if they want to roll the dice in LuxLand.
The Rockets 2009 2nd rd pk if we have one...and you got to play him at the backup 5. He's 6-10, athletic, and a shot blocker. We're set at the PF position already.
luther is quality depth. it would be cool to have an undersized 2 when we play small lineups, and thats wat head is good for. also hes a very good 3pt shooter. not bad at layups but shouldnt take a lot of them. he sucks in the playoffs but in the regular season when were tryna get WINS so we can get a GOOD PLAYOFF SPOT, luther head can help w/ that, as he showed us in his entire nba regular season career. should never be in the playoffs unless he works on his game. if we can getta 6'11+ big that can defend and rebound then i dunno why he wouldnt go for it but maybe he has reasns and if he does they better be good.
I always felt head plays better as a starter than a reserve. He should be moved to someplace where he can get more PT and start....maybe a team like the clippers or timberwolves.
If we could trade Head for a power forward/center with some size and skills, and simultaneously, trade one of our vertically challenged PFs for a shooting guard who's bigger and better than Head, then I'm all for it.
OMG yes! i would love millsy to be on the rockets, but i keep seeing similar style of play in brooks, which makes me think DM da GM (heh, cool) wouldnt double up and take Mills...
