Are you hating on Morey or Les?

I like to pull ideas out of my ass too. When we had a franchise player (Yao) Les did nothing to try and win it all... He didn't acquire the best scorer in the league and the best defender or anything...

Oh and to borrow what you said in the other thread

Battier trade wasn't under Morey fail
Ariza trade I'm neutral about, didn't help nor hurt us.
Artest was going to join the Lakers reguardless he had talked to Kobe before he signed. Anyways would you want to be stuck with his contract right now with how awful he was last year? Fail
He was going to trade Martin for a deal any gm would take, the though of getting Gasol and the possibility Nene is definitely worth losing Martin. That's something risky also, which earlier you said he never does. double fail

And we would have gotten an all star if Stern wouldn't have crapped all over us. So we all just need to chill out and see what happens before the 25th.

Whats so much differrent giving Gasol and Nene $34 mil

than giving McGrady & Yao $34 mil for HALF a season of basketball?

In 2010 if we flipped rehabbing McGrady and Yao for Pau and Nene at the same price, people would have FULLY endorsed it.

People were excited getting Kevin Martin and conditional draft picks for McGrady, and Kevin Martin is no All-Star or All-NBA player like Gasol is.

Morey needs to take notes from David Stern. Stern does one deal and it trumps anything morey has ever done. It's time for this guy to quit. He has had the rockets stuck in the same place for far too long now. This franchise is mired in mediocrity, his time is up.

How much longer do Rockets fans need to watch this garbage. It sucks to know that at the start of each season that your team has not chance to win it all and no hope to win it all in the future.

If David Stern resigns can we have him replace Morey as rockets GM?

As someone pointed out to your before. If Morey could veto trades Morey would "win". Morey doesn't have that power to do so and Stern does. Please STFU now.

Don't blame Morey for NeNe signing with Denver.

Sister-in-law told me basically what we already knew:

-NeNe was waiting to see if we would be able to link him up with Pau
-When that fell through, we did not have the money that Denver offered (67+ bonuses)
***This is the only "fail" on DM's part: NeNe was not sure about McHale as a proven coach. He has a relationship with Coach Karl, who has a reputation in coaching circles.

You just don't understand Hornets are owned by NBA. It's not like Stern vetoed a random trade. Stern was the real gm of the hornets the whole time he had final say on all Hornets move and he used it.
Btw Morey can Veto trades if he doesn't like a trade proposal made to the rockets he can say no, which is exactly what stern did

Demps and Morey are making a statement to the league. I figure Les will eventually not accept his resignation.

What they should do is just manuever to get DStern out!

STFU and go back to lurking. Your posts are complete BS. There's not even an accidental sliver of truth, which most humans are capable of stumbling upon, in anything that you say.

Firing Morey would be about the worst thing they could do.

Last time I checked Dell Demps was the GM of the Hornets. Stern was acting as owner of the Hornets and when the deal was finalized that when Macho Man Stern came in and said no.

It's all about politics because he didn't want to give Chris Paul leverage on where he wanted to go; a big market team. Therefore, under the pressure of Mark Cuban, Dan Gilbert, and others I'm sure Stern "vetoed" our potential trade.

There is no way Morey could have stopped the trade once it was finalized and sent to the commissioner's office. And why don't you realize having a front line of Pau and Nene would be a hell of a lot better than a front line of Scola and Thabeet.

And what the Rockets should do is beat the crap out of NOH every time they meet.

The Clippers package to NOH > Scola, Martin, and Dragic
We settle that in the hardcourt.

LOL is the Clippers will be left hanging out to dry if CP3 leaves in 2 years and LAL land Dwight Howard.

And I thought DStern was looking after the interests of the small market teams? A big player going to a big city again?

lol you need to grow up. Stfu really? Are you that emotional about morey?
Their is alot of truth in what I am saying. Morey's job is to do whats best for the rockets. My point is the rockets are going nowhere now and nowhere in the future under Morey.
If you disagree please tell me what hope or optimism you have for the rockets in the future. Are the rockets in a good position now?

Yup Stern was acting as owner of the Hornets and the owner always has final say. Stern was just doing his job.

Yes because Morey has had a Chris Paul caliber player on his team that he had to trade.

And you REALLY don't see any conflict of interest between being the commissioner of the entire NBA and being the owner of the Hornets? None at all.

No he did not but here's the problem, until you have a franchise player that is supposed to be the only goal. The only way to accomplish that would be to stop making moves designed to take the rockets to mediocrity and rebuild.

Stern saved us by stopping that trade. My problem with Morey is that even his master plan would have us going nowhere fast. Gasol couldn't win it all with Bynum, Kobe and odom but pairing him with Nene, P Pat , C bud, C lee and K lowry is supposed to get rockets fans excited.

Hell ya I have a problem when our GM's idea of making big moves is making us a mediocre team for the next five years
