I still find it humorous that people hate that trade, although it's been the only time in (going on) the last 13 years that this team has been in the second round and sniffed the closeness of the Western Conference Finals.

No need for the translation, I do understand some Spanish, especially in writing. Most posters who have been here a while know that I am from Germany, so that is my native language. I do also speak some French, a little bit Spanish, a little bit Italian and a little bit Korean, even though I would not say that I could engage in a sophisticated conversation or a business negotiation (unless you consider ordering food and beer a business negotiation) in the last three. My first foreign language (although a dead language) was Latin. But I am not quite sure what the point of your question is?

I've always been puzzled by your attitude towards him given that
    1. We don't beat Portland without Artest
2.A lot of winning teams have a bad guy. Tim Duncan and Kevin Durant are not walking through that door unless you sit there, tank, and hope to get lucky through the draft.
    3. I'd argue we are beginning a new direction, away from Yao. And given that Yao is without a doubt not a dirt bag, I am wondering when would you have given up on him?

I just had to bump this thread, couldn't help myself.

First and foremost: I personally apologized to Clutch and SJC (aroundtheworld) for my ridiculous behavior after the trade deadline in this thread. I had severely sprained my ankle that day playing ball (playing horse with my wife) and I drank a fifth of Seagrams tea flavored vodka and a six pack of Stella Artois that night and acted like an absolute dbag on the bbs. I absolutely felt stupid for my antics the next day and I am indeed sorry.

This wouldn't be the first time I embarrassed myself around here, but I always come back to take my lumps. Somehow, I wasn't rookified and I'm happy that SJC and Clutch both accepted my sincerest apologies for the stupid BS my mouth secreted on the forum that night. My propensity to act a fool is well documented around here, but I think it's clear: I LOVE HOUSTON, TEXAS with all of my heart and soul.

I might not be the best at conveying my absolute piety when it comes to anything Houston, but I hope you all know that I'm one of the good guys. I love CF, I respect you all and your opinions. Thank you in advance for forgiving the (semi) regular outbursts of idiocy and drunk senselessness that I have a knack for spewing around here from time to time.

SJC made me feel better by pointing out that sometimes, one doesn't even need heavy drinking to act as douchey as I did that night...point is though, I'm sorry. Alcohol has always been a demon of mine and I really need to keep it in control. Not for CF, but for myself.
