Please Daryl - you know that Brewer is a terrible NBA player, take charge, do your job, tell JBB to bench him, to make him inactive - that Brewer is garbage. Because JBB is too blind to see the truth, that Brewer is a complete and utterly useless player. He is a net negative on this team, he shoots too much, he sucks at that, he gambles too much on D, he sucks on that - and frankly there is never a reason that he should EVER see an NBA floor again unless you need an energy boost from your 12th man. Look, you already screwed up Daryl and bid against yourself and gave the guy 8m a year - do the right thing, and Take JBB's wubbie away - you are in charge Daryl. I know you say you don't want to meddle in coaching, and you want the coaches to do their thing, but if you are as smart as folks think, and as GM you are the LEADER of the franchise, you need to do what is right. He should have done his job at the trade deadline and flipped Brewer to literally anyone that wanted him for a bag of dicks or whatever. The Rockets would be a better team if Brewer wasn't on the team.

Ultimately, it is Morey's fault for getting flawed players. Name one player on the rockets that can do 3/4 of shoot/pass/dribble/play defense even just average nba level? As opposed to warriors where u have 7. Not to mention a system that acxentuates their strengths and minizes weaknesses.

There are a ton of times that a GM has told the coach to play certain players - that is their job - they are leading this franchise, if the coach they hired is too stupid to see the forest through the trees, they need to step in and do it. That is what leadership is all about. LEADING ! Yes, if that is not the case, Morey needs to go too. DD

Doug Collins straight up called Morey out for being a r****d today. Shoot close to the most 3s in the NBA (barely behind GS) but close to last in %. Yea that makes a **** ton of sense. He's had more than enough time to get 3pt shooters.
