if you wanted tmac's trade value go up, you'd let him play already and then tailor fit the system to his strengths so his stats get padded up. im sure teams would be lining up by then. whatever people say whether positive or negative about tmac doesnt matter. people know what tmac's capable of when healthy. the only thing they want to know if tmac can still play at that level.
Teams are too well scouted nowadays for that to be a serious issue (synergy sports is used by most every NBA team, and they provide that information). And it doesn't explain why the question is never asked. Plus he has shown willingness to share information of that sort from time to time.
There is not a GM in the league who doesnt know what mcgrady brings to the table when healthy, so his trade value only depends on his health. And i dont see morey as the type of person who lies about anything, good or bad, to hype up a player. I think he calls it like he sees it and thats why i think he will be with the rockets for a long long time like CD was..
Morey never says anything bad about the players ... past or present. He used to defend Alston all the time against callers and you know what happened. He is a good GM.
