What are you blind? He just said that trading T-Mac would be a bad idea. I don't think he'll pull the trigger on something that he thinks is a bad idea.
That wasn't the point. What we do for a trade is to improve the team rather than look for equal value of an individual player in return. TMac is an overpaid player. He doesn't worth 20MMl/year salary, his value will decrease dramatically in the following years. You will never be able to trade T-Mac for top player such as KB or LJ. It is already known we can't win all the way with T-Mac and Yao in one team. Instead, the funny thing is that we have been trying to win a first round playoff in the past years and now we are looking for to get a playoff spot for this season. It is time to Trade Yao or T-Mac.
Why have your Name be referring to T-Mac and want to trade him... I don't get it. Brand is coming off a major injury, what's makes you think he will be able to produce like he used to. And if he doesn't, this deal would not even be close.
What games are you watching? You are all talking about Yao going off and scoring a big bunch of POINTS against the Celtics. Yao isn't the same Yao as of previous seasons- Coach A is not encouraging or requiring him to be a dominent scorer. It seems that Coach A likes Yao to be the second coming of Vlade, much to the detriment and reputation of Yao Ming.
Wishful thinking. Yao had 8 turnovers the other game. The only time you should say "8 turnovers" is when you're answering the question, "What'd you do for breakfast?"
Why wouldn't u do that deal with yao? If yao is so good or dominant why not ask for brand and kaman for yao. the clippers can have the asian star in la-la land and the rox can win titles.
just bring cat back too and we give up tmac thats fair then stevie would be so happy the cat coming back and co rookie of the year
Dont get me wrong, I am a huge McGrady fan... though I dont have much reason to be at this point in his career. I think if he were to play the SF position, he could see a boost in productivity. Right now, Battier is forcing McGrady to play further out on the perimeter... I think McGrady is more natural at the 3 rather than 2... chasing down quicker guards on the perimeter is taking its toll on McGrady. PG: Mike James | Sam Cassell | Brevin Knight SG: Cuttino Mobley | Quinton Ross SF: Tracy McGrady | Shaun Livingston PF: Al Thornton | Tim Thomas CN: Chris Kaman | Aaron Williams 6: Tim Thomas 7: Sam Cassell 8: Shaun Livingston 9: Quinton Ross Knight, Cassell and Aaron Williams expires?
Just keep in mind that any questions about trading our players, especially our franchise players is likely to be answered with a no regardless of what Morey really thinks or intends. Admitting he is shopping Tmac would have multiple negative effects until a deal was completed, and no benefits.
See: KG. Sometimes a trade is the result of issues other than what is 'wanted' by management. This is where, I am compelled to wonder, TMac may be putting the Good Guys. IF Morey has to deal him THEN please do NOT replicate the KG deal or the Pippen deal.
