I'm a bit of a pessimist at times but I hope that Greene will develop into a good pro after some years.
Edit: I watched his pre-draft interview with GS after posting in this thread. I liked the way he answered some of the questions put to him, which made me feel somewhat better about him.

    Excellent recaps jogo and Dadakota.

Don't mind at all I missed the interview cause the recaps are great, and saved me a lot of time.

Too bad on that CDR thing. He sounds like he would have actually been a better fit regardless of what DM says. But who am I to question the man? Hopefully he's right and Greene is it. He's shown he knows what the hell he's doing, even if we don't understand at first.

However that Dorsey pick I seriously think was a big mistake. We should have gone with CDR here, or Chalmers. Too many good options left to choose Dorsey.

The Rox' 'culture' (polar opposite to the home denizens @MMP) should, it would seem, foster an environment where Green will grow. Of course it failed with Greene, but could there be a redux with GG?

Redux? I'll take a stab at one with DD's love child, Kill Span er V-Bill er TGreece.

Is Joe Alexander 'on offer' for the right deal in Milbuckee? That guy has R-o-c-k-e-t written all over him! (Bye - bye Carl for Joe A?)

I think that in the draft you need to give special attention to size and atheleticism (mainly because it very tough to get these types of players through trade and free agency), especially if you're picking so low and there isn't much proven talent. I think morey did that. I think they did pretty well even though i think everyone will regret passing up CDR.

on a side note, what is up with these guys coming out of college so old? 24 is really old for a college student who came straight from HS. I think Al Thornton was like 25 or 26 coming out of college too. What did they take 2 years off to party or something?

I like the pick of greene. I think when u have tools, its easier to become good. Before the draft I was curious who had the higher grade between Greene, green, and outlaw. Whomever had the higher grade, that's the player. I like Dorsey, but I just think they have too many similar players like him. They don't have that tall rangy guy that is big enough and quick enough to guard a guy like Okur or Gasol. Other than that, lets get ready for july 1.
