Seeing ex-Rockets blow up on other teams is very disheartening to fans.

Especially since it looks like the star we got because of Lowry (Harden) plays with little to no heart at all.

So Harden is content because he got his max deal already? He's not fighting to win games, like underpaid Parsons is always trying to do. That's really the problem with players with no history with the Rockets.

If nothing happens within two years, Morey has to blow up the team again.

We were so close with the team the 1st year McHale coached. We only needed a young center to replace Dalembert/Camby. But Morey gave all those players away.

It's not even that fans can be proud of this team because of the way they compete.

This is a team that just surrenders to superior defenses. They are not united enough to try to rethink their plan of attack. They just go through the motions.

Trying to blame Morey for all of that is utterly ****ing r****ded.

We have the best GM in the business who has produced superstars in consecutive off seasons. He readily admits the team is not a championship contender and has identified what it is going to take to get there. He has outlined how he intends to get there.

The things you are complaining about just stupid. Completely unrealistic expectations that no GM can ever live up too.[/QUOTE]

larvg8 - what happened to you? You used to post some good posts when did you joined these teen-agers club called "Our GM is the best in the World"? The complains are legitimate... if you worship a GM and could not take it - that's your problem. Morey is a good GM and we are concerned that he does not have any business to dictate hoe games should be coached.

I heard that MOFs are debating who is THE BEST ... DM the GM or DM the Coach or DM the point guard or DM the Shooting guard .... apparently he can manage, coach, play all 5 positions. Oh, and he should replace Bill,Clyde and Bull for broadcasting too. Personally, I feel sorry for us(Rockets only fan).... these MOFs hijacked our team and made a prophet out of a mediocre. sigh.

Can anybody explain how "Morey offense" is different from Nash/Phoenix offense or Don Nelson offense? Those teams sure won multiple championships.

The only thing i blame Morey for is staying in neutral for so long. The other GM's are hip to his slick ways now.

Do you think it's possible Harden is playing with heart (in his own way) - but maybe he's not as great as he's been made out to be? I mean he definitely struggles against any kind of physical defense it seems. Not saying you're not right, just bringing up the possibility - cuz lately he does look to be working harder out there, but still not playing well.

Harden is a very good guard who will only get better.
He's only 24. The problem is not Harden,Howard, or Parsons. They have a bunch of mediocre players around them that are very inconsistent. They need experience and veteran leadership coming off the bench. Tough minded players. We do not have one single player that fits that mold. Players like Artest, Stephen Jackson,Gooden,Matt Barnes, Brand ,Marion, to name a few. No stars, just players that knows how to help win games. This is why I blame Morey. Artest was not a star, but he took us to another level. Morey needs to make a move. The team is losing confidence . You can see it after all these loses to teams we should be beating. The west is too good and there are no guarantees that we will make the playoffs with the team we have now.

Do people understand where this team was 2 years ago? Why is everybody so impatient? you don't build a championship team overnight (unless you get lebron). Our trajectory right now is soaring up and up.

Everybody, just take a deep breath. This team will change again next year (maybe even this year), so just relax. We are lucky to have Morey. Somehow we went from an injury plagued Yao and Tmac to Harden and Dwight WITHOUT EVER REBUILDING. Who else can do that?

Everybody who's complaining right now is so short sighted. Go root for the Knicks they love solving short term problems.

When you have star players, you put players around them. You try and win asap. They took their time with Yao an Tmac ,and you see what that got us. Yao never had a good power forward to play next to him, and played over 9 years.
It may have extended his career.

Hell no. Compare to last season. Seriously you say harden will only get better???
Lowry is better than Harden this season.
